Max von Stephenitz bred the first German Shepherd Dogs in the 1800s at his property near German village of Grafath, nestled in the far south of Germany. Even today, Grafath remains a small town nestled between farmland and forest. It’s easy to see why von Stephenitz saw this as ideal testing ground. This story inspired our German Shepherd Chocolate Blend. This tea blends chocolate and berries with black tea to bring the drinker to the dark, mysterious forests and bountiful farmlands the first German Shepherds called home over 100 years ago.
